Jaskaran Singh, along with his team mates from G.S.S.D.G.S. Khalsa College, Patiala and some from Khalsa college Anandpur Sahib performed at All India University North Zone at Panjab University, Chandigarh. Team mates : Red Dress – Jobandeep Singh and Harmanjot Singh : Yellow Dress – Nikhil Dhiman and Jaskaran Singh : Blue Dress – Rajkaran Singh and Diljeet Singh : Green Dress – Manav Kumar and Arvind Grewal.
The name of competition was 38th AIU Inter-university North Zone Youth Festival Panjab University YUVA MOHATSAV. The duration of this function was from 1st February to 5th February 2025. On the first day that is the Inauguration ceremony day, there was a cultural procession where 21 universities participated showcasing their different cultures. Every university comes infront of their judges performs their item and then moves forward. Every university got ready in their attires along with the flags of their respective university.

Panjab University, provided all the students with proper breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and Dinner. Rooms were alloted to all the Universities which were very good, clean, and fully cozy in winters. Thanks to the management for taking care of the students so well. Performance of Punjabi University Patiala’s bhangra was on 3rd February. Punjabi University got 5th position in 21 teams from all over north India Folk dances. No matter what was the result but the team performed to the utmost best and each and every one appreciated which is all needed for an artist, beating 268 colleges and then coming at such a big stage to perform at their best is the only thing one artist can do.
Over and Over the competitions were held and on 5th February ceremony was closed after the prize distribution where Punjabi University got 8 positions for different Items in All India North Zone Inter-University. Thanks to all the teachers Dr. Harinder Hundal , Prof. Danny Sharma, Dr. Tajinderpal Singh, Sir Harish Kumar, Sh. Vijay Yamla who supported the teams tirelessly for making the event such a huge success. All the students enjoyed the event and the winners started preparing for the Nationals on the same day.
